Today we hit our TWO YEAR mark of living in Japan! I can't believe it. It seems like yesterday when we were crammed on the United flight to Osaka with Zeke riding down in the belly of the plane when our flight attendant woke us up to tell us we had a new president. It has gone by so fast and I hope this next year goes by even faster.
Despite all of the fun we've been having and all of the awesome friends we have- I'm actually ready to move back to the states. I wish every single day that our families could spend time with (and actually MEET) Caden. It is really hard being so far away!
Instead of the flu season approaching, for me it is more like the homesickness season. This will be the THIRD Christmas in a row that we have been away from our families. It sucks, but I am extremely thankful to be able to spend this Thanksgiving and Christmas with my two sweethearts (Okay, Zeke, three sweethearts. But I was tempted to put you up on Okinawa Yard Sales like five times last week. Diapers are not food, dumb dumb.) We are actually having Thanksgiving at our house this year, so any tips on how to fry a turkey without burning your face off will be gratefully accepted!
