This happened to my credit card on the last day...
It is a clear AMEX with one of those microchip things in it so you don't have to swipe it at some places, you just wave it over the sensor. Well, apparently the chip is between two cards, which came apart. Now, if that is not a sign, I don't know WHAT is.
