6 Months

My baby is 6 months old today! I can NOT believe 6 months have gone by. I've always heard "it goes by soooo fast", but I never really understood HOW fast until now. Today it hit me like a ton of bricks.

Today we started off by taking a couple pics at 8:20am, his birth time. I am ashamed to admit that almost all of my pictures these days are taken with my iphone. I always either forget my point and shoot or don't want to go downstairs to get it in fear of missing whatever Caden is doing at the time. So, I apologize for all of my blurry pictures these days! I want to get a couple professional pics of him this week, so we'll see if I can arrange it.


Brian and I met some new friends last weekend at a birthday party, Emi and Momo. They like to surf and have a 9 month old girl, Shore. Emi told us about swim classes they take Shore to twice a week and today we followed them out to the pool to try it and it was so much fun! Brian and Caden and Momo and Shore swam while Emi and I watched from the lobby (lined with windows). It wore Brian AND Caden out! We all enjoyed it so much that we signed up for a membership.

Later this evening, Brian was waving to Caden on the couch, and he waved back for the first time! So sweet.
