Girls' Cruise- Part 2

Have you read Part 1 yet?

The next day, we checked our bags at the Royal Caribbean counter and did a little shopping next door at Vivo City before we were all aboard the LEGEND OF THE SEAS! We had a pretty laid back day just eating lunch and checking out everything there was to do on the ship. We set sail for Port Klang, Malaysia around 6pm that evening!

THE ATRIUM- DECORATED FOR THE HOLIDAYS

After a wonderful dinner, we decided to check out the karaoke bar on the ship. After sitting there for about 10 minutes, we realized that everyone was singing songs in Chinese. SLOW songs in Chinese. VERY BORING, MAKE YOU WANT TO POKE YOUR EYEBALLS OUT WITH A SHARP OBJECT SONGS. Needless to say, we needed to liven it up with some fast-paced American music.

Leah placed a couple requests and before we knew it, she and Charity were singing along to "Piano Man". A couple songs later, karaoke time was over and an actual piano man came out to perform. He asked Leah (who is an AMAZING singer) if she wanted to sing some songs with him! We all gathered around the piano and listened and sang along until we had to get to bed for our early morning departure in Malaysia. It was a great time!

SUNRISE IN MALAYSIA

PORT KLANG, MALAYSIA

We were signed up for a tour through the cruise ship, which took us on a large bus from Port Klang to the capital city of Kuala Lumpur (K.L.). I apologize in advance because I did not take very many pictures in Malaysia. I wasn't feeling that great and a bumpy hour long bus ride did not help!

We stopped at Petaling Street Market, where we got to do some bargaining. We were one of the first people there though, so not all of the vendors were open.

Next, we stopped at the old railway station...

And paid to use a restroom...

And then, we saw The Petronas Towers. They are the tallest twin towers in the world! They used to be the tallest buildings in the world, until Taipei surpassed them in 2004 with Taipei 101. The movie Entrapment with Sean Connery and Catherine Zeta-Jones was filmed there.

After sight-seeing a little, we were dropped off at a popular mall to do some shopping/eating for the rest of the time before the bus ride back to the port. That evening, we had formal night on the ship. It was fun to get dressed up for a nice dinner!

POSING BY THE BIG CHRISTMAS TREE IN THE ATRIUM

When we got back to the room, we found this towel animal on our bed! It's your hint for where we went next! Stay tuned...
