First Beach Visit

Over the Labor Day weekend, Brian and I decided to introduce Caden to the beach! I guess we didn't time our trip so well because he fell asleep in the car and wanted to sleep the whole time once we got there!

After arriving, we decided it was just too hot to have a 6 week old at the beach. So, we only stayed long enough to put our feet in the cool water (there was some sort of natural spring making the water COLD) and take a few pictures. Caden did NOT want his feet in the cold water. Go figure! He just wanted us to put him back in his car seat so he could sleep instead.

"The cold water will cool him off instantly!"

"GET ME OUTTA HEEEERRRREEEE!!!"

I'm sure he'll love the beach as much as we do. Someday.


We'll have to try again once the weather cools off a bit and it isn't a million degrees outside. He does, however, love to watch the sunset with us on the seawall at the end of our street. He seems to get a little fussy around the same time every evening, so going for a walk along the seawall and watching the sunset makes him (and Mommy) very happy!
